Let it never be said that they aren't trying. Everybody's trying, even the cast, and there was a genuine question mark over the head of that one going in, but people have been trying to make a great Terminator sequel for a very long time, and not a one of them has succeeded at the job since before I was even born, so maybe what we really need, is for the film industry to just stop trying for a little while. Not stop trying to make good movies, just stop trying to make Terminator movies. Like, at all.
