Tiago Almança

Tiago Almança (b. 1994, Madrid) is a Spanish/Portuguese filmmaker working primarily with Super 8 and 16mm film. His work explores personal thoughts, travel diaries, and intimate documentaries, often highlighting social issues and creating poetic and raw visual narratives through a blend of documentary and experimentation. His process is driven by spontaneity and chance: he approaches a subject out of curiosity or interest but without a predefined plan, allowing the camera to capture life as it unfolds.
