Carlyle Eubank is an American screenwriter and director. As director, he helmed the 2025 film Broke starring Wyatt Russell and Dennis Quaid. As screenwriter, he wrote the 2023 film Muzzle starring Aaron Eckhart and Stephen Lang, which was released in US theaters on September 29. His other screenwriting works include the 2019 film Crypto, starring Beau Knapp, Kurt Russell, Alexis Bledel, and Luke Hemsworth, which was released in US theaters on April 12 and the 2014 film The Signal, starring Laurence Fishburne, Brenton Thwaites, Olivia Cooke, and Beau Knapp, which premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and was released in US theaters on June 13. Eubank attended Amherst College where he majored in English and Literature. While writing, Eubank has drawn from personal experiences including track and cross country running and mountaineering expeditions. A lover of carpentry, Eubank worked as a set builder on both the 2011 film Love and The Signal, for the latter of which he also fashioned a number of makeshift effects.
