DANNI SUZUKI is an actress, presenter, director, screenwriter, and speaker. She studied directing and acting at NY Film Academy (NY-LA). She holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from PUC-RJ and a Postgraduate degree in Neuroscience from PUC-RS (2024). She is an international speaker, with four TEDx talks, twice a jury member for the International Emmy Awards, and a guest lecturer for the Postgraduate program in Digital Marketing and Influence at PUC-RS. She served as a jury member at the LABRIFF Film Festival in Los Angeles (2017) and in the semi-finals of the International Emmy Awards (2021 and 2024). She has established herself as one of the most prominent Asian actresses in her country, performing in soap operas, series, and films since 1998, with a solid career at one of the largest television networks in Brazil (Rede Globo), where she worked for almost 20 years. Her most recent acting work can be seen in the series "Arcanjo Renegado," currently airing on Globoplay, in the series "Desjuntados" on Amazon Prime (BR), in the series "Capoeiras" on Disney Plus, and soon in cinemas in the feature film "Secrets" (premiering in 2024), for which she received a Best Actress nomination at the Marbella International Film Festival in Spain. She made her debut in 2016 as a director and screenwriter with the film "Pulso," which was nominated and awarded for Best Direction, Screenplay, Film, Cinematography, and Acting at various national and international festivals, including the International Festival of "Mar Del Plata" in Argentina, Brazil New Visions Film Fest, "LABRIFF" and "Olympus Film Festival" in LA; it was screened at the Laemmle Theater in Hollywood. She is currently finalizing her documentary feature about refugee children, filmed in Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, and the Brazil-Venezuela border. She was the creator and screenwriter of a series on Amazon Prime (Brazil) and a screenwriter for a series on Amazon Prime (USA). As a presenter, she has hosted two seasons of "The Voice Brasil," covered the most important music festivals, hosted daily programs, auditorium shows, and interviews with national and international celebrities. She lived with various peoples from different cultures around the world while filming for Multishow. She is currently filming the second season of the program "New Faces" on E! Entertainment Television, set to premiere in October 2024. She is also working as a voice actress in the animations "Patos" and "Kung Fu Panda 4" for Universal, which will be released in cinemas across Brazil in 2024. A social activist, she has served as an ambassador for the American NGO "Waves for Water" and the international NGO "Make a Wish." She has been running her own social projects for over 26 years, dedicating herself since 2016 to refugee families.
