Maya the Bee
Maya the Bee is a dramatised documentary film displaying living bees and other forest animals interacting with each other. Based on the book by Waldemar Bonsels, he also assisted himself in cinematography, along with A.O. Weitzenberg. The film was restored in 2004, after a decent copy (nitrate) of this film survived in the Finnish Film Archives possession and was done by Bundesarchiv-Filmarchiv with the support of Waldemar Bonsels-Stiftung.
