Feride is a young girl who lost her family as a child and was educated in a French school. Because of her mischievousness and cheerfulness, she is nicknamed Wren by those around her. On the eve of marriage with the boy she loves, she thinks she is being deceived and runs away. Feride then begins to work as a teacher in various Anatolian cities.
