The First Steps

Myada, a student of the agricultural school, will be assigned to the hay brigade led by Dorje for training. The wise old men Baldan, Jugder, Buriad Bazar and the young haymaker Bold are experienced haymakers who work hand-in-hand and try to enforce the haying period according to the book taught to them.
