Forced to leave his country after the Six-Day War in 1967, Khalil traveled across the Arab world, from city to city, from refugee camp to refugee camp, until he found refuge in France, in Paris, where he still lives today. The film attempts to tell the story of this man's exile and, through his two daughters, addresses the question of the transmission, from one generation to the next, of a story, a cause and an identity
